Here is our China 2018 Trip Itinerary in it’s basic form.  Many of you will laugh and think ummmm is this the basic form.  Yes bitches….. in ‘Lisa Trip Planny World’ this is absolutely the basics.  I would never ever amen dare share the real detailed itinerary publicly.  So read it and shut up ok.

P.S. it’s important to know that if it wasn’t something prebooked and paid for we probably just threw that plan out the window and went to a bar because mildly inappropriate alcohol consumption doesn’t actually count on holiday right, especially since 3 days in Husband announces from his throne that he is ‘all templed out’ eeeeeek, that’s gonna put a few holes in the days (look at me being all loosey goosey and flexible and rolling with the punches…..that’s of course if he survived this comment and if I actually listened to him upsetting my plans, which you’ll have to read on through the blog updates to see)

Day 4 – Exploring out in the Countryside 1 January, 2013

(2018 UPDATE – Wow friends, I was super enthusiastic and annoyingly upbeat back then.  I mean, I still liked my children and my husband and just had a happy zest for life.  I had a think about this and put it down to my kids only being 14 & 10 (they are now 20 & 16 – pass the bottle of booze, and then another bottle please) and maybe my bullshit-o-meter hadn’t tapped out just yet.  Who even was I?  All I know is I must have been really really hard to be around back then with all my sunshiny-ness and unicorn rainbows.  I’m so sorry guys, thanks for hanging in there and guess what, good news…..6 years later I am now the blackhearted, cynical, potty mouthed, people hating BITCH I was always meant to be.  You’re welcome!!!)

So after the most delicious sleep in for us all we slowly got up and had a lovely brunch. The main event for today was a bus tour out into the countryside and I was very excited to explore.  Yes I know bus tours aren’t high on everyone’s list but if you find the right tour they are such a good way to get to see alot in one day and if you aren’t used to driving in snowy conditions which we obviously are not – then it’s ideal!

The good news about this visit to Quebec is that we don’t have to be up and out the door early the whole time we are here.  Sucks to be me because the family are definitely making the most of it – much to my frustration since I struggle to truly sleep in. OMFG – get UPPPPPP!!!

Okay so today was forecast to be extraordinarily cold. Like super cold. So perhaps it wasn’t the best day for us to be doing a horse and carriage ride tour for 2 hours hey???? Alas I had booked this in advance and the show must go on so we rugged up and I do mean rugged up with thermals, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves etc for the ride.
